SG's Health Promotion Board Launches Hunt For PR Agency

Singapore's Health Promotion Board (HPB) is looking for a public relations (PR) agency, according to tender documents seen by Marketing-Interactive. The designated agency is expected to strengthen HBB's organization and programs by providing personalized, efficient, cost-effective and results-based support.

The agency is expected to provide comprehensive consulting services, from strategic consulting to tactical implementation and personalized communications.

HPB has partnered with a designated public relations agency to increase awareness, sensitivity and support for HPB's health promotion activities and programs and to generate ongoing high-quality media coverage of HPB and its programs on all platforms through targeted means of communication. It also plans to build strong relationships with target media, build relationships and promote wellness with key opinion leaders and influencers.

Additionally, HBB seeks to identify thought leadership opportunities and content to position itself at the forefront of health promotion, both nationally and internationally.

The scope of work includes developing and maintaining a detailed story bank based on temporal events and trends, as well as maintaining monthly stories and articles in target media outlets.

Required to develop a communications plan, manage media requests, prepare printed press kits, and provide support for media events, including speaking engagements and speaking engagements.

News of the offer comes after Pint was approached by HBB to find a creative and digital agency to support its integrated marketing and communications projects. According to GeBIZ documents seen by Marketing-Interactive, the tender will be awarded for a period of three years according to a maintenance model with an option to extend for an additional three years.

The preferred offering will include strategic marketing, creative products, social media, behavioral insights and go-to-market services, which will be further detailed in the qualification summary preceding the September 14 offering.

According to GeBIZ documents, the selected agency must provide thought leadership and best practices, develop data-driven marketing strategies, be able to analyze target audiences and behavioral understanding, identify consumer trends and provide insight into HPB marketing efforts.
