Premier Health Teams Up With Cincinnati Hospital To Expand Heart Care
Premier Health and Christ Hospital Health Network are collaborating to bring highly specialized cardiac care to more people in the Miami Valley and Southwest Ohio.

The partnership will focus on providing specialized care for complex cardiovascular conditions, offering doctors, patients and families a seamless experience in continuing care, according to a statement from the Cincinnati Christ's Hospital Health Network released Wednesday.
"This partnership demonstrates the mission of both organizations to improve the health of the communities we serve," Debbie Hayes, president and CEO of Christ Hospital Health Network, said in a prepared statement.
“We are excited to partner with Premier Health, which allows both organizations to explore creative ways to provide a valuable and rare financial resource to the patients and families we serve,” he said.
“The efforts of the cardiologists and vascular specialists of both teams will strengthen the cardiovascular options offered in these settings and ensure proper access to the latest technologies and comprehensive treatment plans. The expansion of services in this area is a great example of how healthcare organizations can work together to address the challenges facing our communities.

Premier Health is headquartered in Dayton. This partnership allows both healthcare systems to increase the availability of cardiovascular services in existing facilities while limiting the need for additional buildings while ensuring responsible management of healthcare resources.

Dean Kerijkes, MD, FACC, MSCAI, president of Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute, says this partnership will provide "unprecedented continuity of care."
“Our trained cardiovascular specialists provide the most advanced care, technology and expertise, as well as access to the latest clinical research through the Carl and Edith Lindner Research Center, another resource in cardiac care,” Kereyaks said.
This partnership will go into effect on July 1, 2023.
