AMPT Terminals has reaffirmed its commitment to security at its terminals and throughout the port.

Steen Knudsen, AMPT Terminals Terminal Manager, said this recently when the company received a Platinum Award for Outstanding Health, Safety and Environmental Performance from the Nigerian Ports Authority.

The HSE Awards is an annual event dedicated to recognizing and rewarding port operators in the Lagos Port Complex who have excelled in health, safety and environmental wellness.

In a press release, the terminal explained that it received the highest award, the Platinum Merit Award, for its outstanding performance at the port.

He said AMPT Terminals embarked on a transformation in 2020, adding that every aspect of the terminal has been transformed, from infrastructure, processes and service delivery to the development of its workforce.

"In 2020 we started a transformation, which fundamentally changed the way we do things at APM endpoints.
