Deadline Extended To Speak At Safety Leadership Conference 2024

We know that everything can become a blur between Thanksgiving and New Year's, with year-end reports, forecasts for the coming year, family gatherings, holiday events, religious ceremonies, parties and gatherings, and "use-it-or" policies. . And all that food, especially those cookies.

For this reason, we have extended the deadline for the speaker conference at today's EHS Security Leadership Summit . The episode is scheduled for January 19, 2024 at 11:59 a.m. ET.

We want to hear more about your case studies, lessons learned, best practices, and other ways you've helped improve security in your organization. If you are a seasoned speaker, feel free to come along, but we are looking for something that has never been done before. If you're new to public speaking (or even security), we want you to share your thoughts with us.

We also accept applications from consultants or vendors, but only if the proposal matches a co-applicant who is an active security professional in their organization. We are also open to suggestions for panel discussions with two or more speakers.

The 13th Annual Safety Leadership Conference will be held August 26-28, 2024 in Denver (Aurora), Colorado at the Gaylord Rockies Resort. The theme of this year's conference is "Safety First, Leadership Always: Closing the Gaps."

Each track offers four sessions focused on the five areas of security excellence described below. There will be a total of 20 breakout sessions and each session will last 30 minutes.

Risk management

Insights and best practices for improving organizational safety culture, with a focus on the role of safety leadership at environmental and organizational levels. Possible topics include:

  • Focus on how you can create a culture of safety in the workplace.
  • Engage audiences in creative or highly interactive ways.

  • Give participants actionable steps they can take immediately or have genuine conversations about new tasks that need improvement.
